Book Recommendation/ Review
The Reason by Lacey Sturm
The Reason is a book of faith, hope, despair, grief, desperation, darkness, and
forgiveness. It follows Lacey Sturm. You might know her by her maiden name, Lacey
Mosely. She was the former lead singer of the rock band, Flyleaf. It’s her memoir of
growing up with a rough childhood through her darkness and depression and suicidal
thoughts. There is an overarching theme of faith. After every Lacey goes through, she
still finds faith and comes to Christianity.
