About the Author.
Hi, I’m Lauren,
I’m a mum of two beautiful children and live in Sussex in the UK.
I became a born again Christian in 2005.
But since i was 14 I have had been through many valleys, trials and storms with my physical & mental health and have experienced, depression, anxiety and self- harm. But God helped me with these as I have learnt to change my focus from having a negative mindset and focus and towards God and His promises. Through this I learnt to become practice mindful of Him.
Therefore demonstrating “service from suffering” or finding and using that pain for a purpose, God’s purpose and leading.
The focus of this website is to help others in their journey; their faith and relationship with with the Father, son and Holy Spirit. In addition to this it is to help change mindset and focus onto God and to help improve mental health and well-being.
In 2018 God asked me to write a book, at the time i didn’t know what it would look like but over the next few years he revealed what it was meant to be, then in 2020, when i finished my degree in Health and Social care, He prompted me to start and January in 2021 it was published. The prologue is my own testimony. For more info check click here.
Then the next chapter of my life I was not expecting either! God was leading me closer to Him and as I continued in my own personal growth and particularly growth with Him too. Then in the middle of a prayer meeting He clearly told me to start offering 1-2-1 sessions alongside the book. I had already asked a friend to be a guinea pig with the book and she then asked me to go through it with her. From this I had a few others come to me to ask for the same. So pushing a a few doors, looking into how to go about it, a few remained closed then the coaching came up and it was clear what God was asking me to do.
I’m just so excited to be doing what He wants in building this ministry and turning what was dark into light and for the glory of God.
Scriptures that helped me through the valley.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.
Isaiah 40.31 Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
2 Corinthians 12.9 But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
