Father in Heaven,

Thank you for sending Jesus who came to give me life, save me from eternal death and washed my sins clean. I know that life here on earth comes with it’s difficulties, hard times and attacks from the enemy, but I also know that I am with you and you, your Holy Spirit, power and strength are in me.

Please Lord, help me to change my focus, away from distraction, my self, others, problems, situations and difficulties and on to you. Please pour your Spirit over me and give me your strength so I can get through this day, help me to stand firm in my faith in you. Help me to recognise any lies, twisted truths, thoughts or beliefs that aren’t of you or your word and give me the wisdom of your truth, about you, what you say and your promises, help me to remember these in the difficult moments.

Help me to pursue righteousness, shine your light on any thoughts, behaviours and darkness and help me to get rid of anything that is not of you. Help me to know that I am saved by your grace and am already made right through Jesus.

Please pour out your Spirit over me, so I can experience the fruits of your Spirit; peace, love, joy, kindness, patience and self control, no matter what my current situation or circumstances look like.

I ask you for your faith too. Please increase my faith and let me experience the faith that you have for me, help me to hold onto this faith through all things and strengthen this faith so nothing can falter or destruct it.

Help me to know that it is only you and not by works that I am saved from death and destruction. Help me to know my identity in you and that I am your child and am loved by you.

Lord, lead me to your Word, help me to overcome distraction and distortion of it. Help me to make it my priority to make time to read your Word, help me to understand, absorb and align with it for my own sake and for that of others.

Let me recognise when the enemy and his minions are attacking and working against me either directly on my body, mind or soul or through others or situations. Give me the wisdom strength and words that I need to speak against any darkness in Jesus’ almighty name.

Help me to pray at all times, through all seasons, for myself and for others. Help me to reconise times throughout my day when I can be in conversation with you. Help me to recognise your voice when you speak to me too.

Let me give you thanks, praise and worship throughout this day. Help me to recognise your almighty power and everything you have done in this world and in my life up until this moment. Fill me with a new gratitude and teach me to praise you in new and wonderful ways, because that is what you deserve.

Lord, help me to know when you say “yes”,”no” or “wait.” Help me to practice patience and to trust you through all circumstances and seasons. I ask for your will to be done, not mine.

Prepare and train me so I can be ready for your return and eternity with you. Keep my eyes on you and the end goal but help me to enjoy each and every moment today wth you too.

Help me to be a mighty warrior for and with you. Help me to remember that whatever I go through, you are with me, have gone before me and remind me throughout the day that I am on your side, the winning side.
