What is the ‘Mark of the Beast’?
Is it a myth or fantasy? Perhaps it’s just conspiracy? Maybe you’ve delved into conspiracy theories and have been reading up on the Illuminate. But I am not here to go down that road!!
Let’s go to the heart of the matter. What does GOD say about it?
Let’s go straight to scripture:
He required everyone—small and great, rich and poor, free and slave—to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name.
Revelation 13:16-17
We know that Revelation is talking about the end times; Jesus’ return, the state of the world, the promise of eternity in heaven for Gods children and the fate that Satan & his minions are doomed for:
And the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who did mighty miracles on behalf of the beast—miracles that deceived all who had accepted the mark of the beast and who worshiped his statue. Both the beast and his false prophet were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
Revelation 19:20
The devil, the beast, is destined for eternity in Hell and he wants to take as many people down with him, his biggest threat is God first, (obviously!) but also us believers in Christ Jesus.
The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
John 10:10
Therefore, he WILL do all that he can to take us away from God and take us down with him. This mark of the beast, is one of his final tactics to do just that.
There has been “wonderings” and ideas of what ‘The Mark of the Beast’ might be. Some people believe that it was in the Covid vaccines and injected into us without us knowing, yikes, imagine that! But what would the point of doing that be? Thankfully, that was not the case. Scripture clearly states that it will be used for buying and selling purposes.
The Mark of the Beast: A Chip
You can see already that we are becoming a cashless society. Even though cash is still about, the use of it is slowly declining. The use of bank cards, to online banking, to mobile apps and the click of a button on your phone.
We can see, and know where this is going!
The Heart Newspaper says;
“Digital implants are being planned so every move we make, every item we buy will be known by ‘Big Brother’…Bill Gates has already discussed injecting something much smaller than a microchip into people so they could buy and sell.”
We’ve been using chips in our pets for tracking for years now but the use of a chip for buying and selling has actually been about since 1998, according to BBC News and it is being used in Sweeden, Poland and other areas and won’t be long until it’s being used in the UK & US (if not already!)
Wojciech Paprota, who is the founder of London-based Walletmor but hails from the Polish city of Lublin, told Lublin.eu., of Notes “Our payment implant cannot be forgotten or lost… this means that, unlike a standard payment card, it cannot end up in the wrong hands. It will not fall out of our wallet, and no one will take it from there. The implant cannot be scanned, photographed or hacked.” He went on to say, “I believe that one day implants will be as popular as payment cards.”
So you can see how supposedly “beneficial” and “conventient” it would be!
What does the mark of the beast mean for Christians?
Accepting the chip, aka the mark of the beast, shouldn’t be an option for Christians.
I’m sorry, but i’m not. It’s your salvation at hand!
It means we are to stand firm in the truth. We know the end days are going to be tough…well, that’s an understatement! But stand firm, you know the truth and that this time on Earth is temporary, your home is eternity in Heaven. So, cling onto Jesus, trust Him that He will provide for you and Keep watch, Be ready for His return.
How will Believers survive if we can’t have the chip? What can you do on a practical level?
Honestly, I don’t have the answer, but just some ideas could be; to grow your own vegetables, keep animals e.g., chickens, start stocking up. But to be honest it’s your children & children’s children that we need to tell and inform them on how to get prepared. But most importantly, to share with them the truth of the Gopsel and how they can keep strong in their faith. It is their Salvation that matters the most. And that is what you can hang onto today.
Just remember, if you know Jesus as your saviour, you are a child of God and you’re already on the winning side of this battle!

We really are in the birthing pangs of the end days. Thank you for this post, I need to trust in Jesus for the end times or I get overwhelmed by it all.
